HOW TO WORK AT BOAKE

Boake Incorporated is SAICA Accredited training office. As a SAICA Accredited training office we office, our specialism is in AUDIT training contracts. The following requirements are necessary as per SAICA.

Get the right university qualification:

  • Obtain a BCom Accounting degree or an equivalent CA (SA) undergraduate qualification at a SAICA-accredited university.

  • Obtain a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or equivalent qualification at a SAICA-accredited university.

  • A Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) is a post-graduate course that focusses on Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Financial Management. The course takes a minimum of one year.

Study while working and completing training contact:

Option 1

Whilst obtaining a BCom Accounting degree or an equivalent CA (SA) undergraduate qualification at a SAICA-accredited university on a part-time basis and then you can immediately enter into a training contract with a registered training office.

You will be expected to be continuously registered and/or study towards a BCom or equivalent degree during the 5 year period.

Contract Duration: Five Years.

Option 2

You have obtained a SAICA-accredited undergraduate qualification on a full-time basis, and you can then enter into a three year training contract at an accredited training office and complete your CTA or equivalent on a part-time basis.

You will be expected to be continuously registered and/or Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or equivalent qualification at a SAICA-accredited university for the 3 year period or once completed write further examination with SAICA.
